The two managing directors of Ibotac GmbH & Co. KG, Mr. Vujicic and Mr. Prümm, got to know each other in 1998 at their former employer. Already at that time they were the “specialists” for difficult floors. In their free time, for example, they worked on their idea of the “modular floor” in the basement and in various workshops.

As a result, the two of them founded the company together in 2003, first as a classic sole proprietorship and then as a GmbH & Co KG.

Also in the newly established company development was and is capitalized. Thus, Mr. Vujicic and Mr. Prümm developed 3 versions of the Ibotac industrial flooring Fast, Step and Klick, which are still in the product range today.

Nevertheless, they have not rested on the success of these products, but have developed new self-laying system tiles and improved existing products, here to mention the Biteo Designfloor, a liquid-tight vinyl/LVT, and the IboColor, a seamless installable system tile. In addition, all systems developed by Ibotac feature a drainage system on the underside that prevents liquid from reaching the surface.

Over the years, Ibotac GmbH & Co KG has grown steadily. Currently, 20 people are employed at the company’s headquarters in Eschweiler/NRW and another 50 at the production site in Serbia.
